A native of New York, musician/DJ/producer/educator Chris Annibell has recorded, produced and performed with a wide array of music luminaries ranging from Zap Mama & Erykah Badu, Tony Touch, DJ Spinna, Kenny Dope Gonzales, and Rich Medina–to Roy Ayres, Gilles Peterson, Bonobo, Thievery Corporation, Quantic, Soulive, Nova Lima, Mark de Clive-Lowe and more. A resident DJ at critically acclaimed NYC hotspot Le Bain at The Standard Hotel, Annibell is known for playing deep underground, diverse selections, traversing house, soul and afrobeat. With titles on record labels such as Giant Step, David Byrnes Luaka Bop, MCA, Modiba, and WonderWheel; and with music placements in TV commercials and hit cable programs like HBO's Entourage, his discography and production credits continue to grow.
